It's been some time since I posted pictures of this vandaceous hybrid. It was a Kagawara (Ascocentrum x Renanthera x Vanda) but with reclassification in the vandaceous group and Ascocentrum no longer valid as a genus, this is now a Renantanda(?). The flowers are really that pink.

love it.. nice one......
Love the pink plush and very nice photograph.
That color is amazing. This hybrid does not appear to be registered. What is the cross?
adorable..... =D
love the color.
Splendid color. Bravo.
Sorry Kirk, I'm afraid I don't know the parentage of this cross. I bought it from a nursery that had scores of them and the owner had hopes of growing them for the cut flower trade but was disappointed that they were not free flowering enough (only 2-3 bloomings a year).BTW this is a mericlone but it is very rare to see them at our local orchid shows.Another Kagawaara (Renantanda), Christie Low with orange-red flowers that is more floriferous and very free flowering to boot, is more popular among enthusiasts, I'll be posting pictures of this plant when the blooms are fully open.
Delightful display Yew......................AL
