    Default Aerides multiflora

My Aerides put out two spikes this year. =) Thou its still a far cry from well grown plant which can produce over 2 feet of branches flower spikes. Yes this species can produce branched spike. It likes to stay a littler cooler and dryer during winter as its a mid-highland specie.

Lovely. You are right about it needing a cool dry winter. Here in Malaysia it blooms sometimes when we have an unusually cool 'winter' from Dec to Feb.
