About 2.5 months ago this phal had 15 beautiful flowers at once and dropped it's last flower about 2 weeks ago.
On 8/4/14 I took a picture of it because the bottom leaf was turning yellow.
I was concerned because it only had 3 leaves at the time. I was wondering at the time if it might just be time to shed the bottom leaf which is usually natural.
Seems like the fickle finger of luck pointed to me this time because in just a couple weeks its started a new leaf.
About the same time I noticed a new leaf had started on my first, and only, keiki. I was a little downhearted though because it looked black on the end.
I had put it outdoors for a couple weeks as an experiment because I'd heard Phal's can take the heat. I guess 105 daytime temp.'s weren't good.
I always hope for the best, but expect the worst~ I lucked out again!
Now it looks as the tip may turn out to be black but there's nice green growth behind it!
I sure hope they both thrive for you!
