Cool Dendrobium Candy Stripe and a noid Dendrobium

Even the dendrobiums have been suffering in this years heat. It has been a very long hot summer. I think once the heat begins to cool off my plants are going to go bloom crazy.

This dark purple den blooms every year no fail. The color is so deep and dark, it is hard to get it to come through the pics correctly. The first picture was taken in full afternoon sun. The second picture comes closest to the true color. It is like the vini paph's that are so dark purple they appear black in some areas.

I agree. Mine are the easiest to bloom and grow out of all the plants out back.
