Thumbs up FINALLY-Phalaenopsis (NOID) 1st bloom/ COMPLETELY diff. Than what I thought

Boy, was I wrong about this one. When I bought it, (probably a little over two years ago), I thought it was white and had a red or purple lip. Of course, it can't be ordinary like that, but this is completely different than what I expected, both in color and size. BETTER than expected to me.Name: image.jpg

By the way, there's about 4-5 additional buds on here but I had to cut them out of the picture to make it fit

Many thanks to all who commented/liked...this is the one that was stuck in the pantry for about a year with a spotlight and very cold temperatures, LOL until I got my mini greenhouse...and it's not even Photoshopped either....ANY GUESSES? (Yeah, I know it could be a million things because of the number of crosses and hybrids with this genus.... maybe something like 'Candy Cane ______'???) I guess I don't really care as long as it keeps thriving :-)

Strangely enough, no, it is not a compact and HUGE leaves - see attached Name: image.jpg

The photo I posted here of plant was when it first began to spike - so you can imagine how big it is now (flowers completely disproportionate to size of plant, LOL.)

Many thanks to all who posted comments.....I've been "off the grid" for awhile due to health issues. In the meantime, the rest of the blooms opened, all six of them. I need to pay more attention to my mini greenhouse,....otherwise, I'll lose more orchids than I already have, due to my lack of attention (illness).....I MUST be turning the corner on this thing soon! HUGS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!
