Since the lights went off and the temp has dropped to the low 70's F so far, the humidity went up to 70%. As long as I keep adding water to my reservoirs, then it looks like I can have humidity. I probably should put plastic down on the floor under it. I bet that will help the humidity issue too.
I will probably add another MGH or 2 in that closet and move more of my plants that want/need humidity into it.
Keep in mind that you also need air movement along with that humidity or you will start to get fungal problems. Maybe a small computer fan at the bottom across the moss bringing fresh air in and one at the top venting out?
I have fans blowing up from the floor in them. And have made vent holes in the top.
Because of the covering included in your kit and the fact that my artificial lighting set up is in the house with therefore somewhat controlled low humidity, I decided to buy vinyl sheeting to cover my shelving/light set. I hope this will work since the area is affected by air condition and dry heating. Maybe it will help improve the health of the orchids. Thanks for showing your set up.
Nice setup Harvey.

Good morning Harvey. I am wondering how your MHG is working out for you and what kind of light set up you are using? Also, has the MHG held up well so far for you, and is the humidity your supplying just from the bowls of Sphag? I realize these are older posts & photos , but they are so new to me. I appreciate getting the chance to look at everyone's photos and setups. I feel like I've been invited into all of your beautiful private gardens!
