    Default how to pollinate a bulbophyllum orhcids

    hi,

    would like some advice on how to hand pollinate a bulbophyllum orchid. i had tried searching the internet but no luck. only two videos showing fly pollinating a bulbophyllum. and do bulbophyllum orchid allow to be self?

    I don't know how to do this either. I did have a Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis that gave me 4 seed pods when it bloomed this past April, I did not pollinate so I guess the flies/bees did it. I had wanted to send to a orchid growing friend but they ended up turning into mush before they were ready to be pulled from the plant, maybe next time.

    ouch ... sorry to hear that. better luck next season. in fact i wanted to learn the pollination for my bulbo phalaenopsis as well, though it haven't show signs of flowering yet. hahaha
