    Thumbs up Walking Iris

    This was blooming today when I was out checking on my plants. How pretty. It is a walking Iris. I don't know any other name for it. If you do, please share.

    Lovely one on this.i have similar infront of the house.they all bloom in the same time this year.here're mine

    WOW!! I just have one growing in a small pot. Are these cold hardy? Can I grow it in the ground in Arkansas, I wonder?

    They're hardy Bruce and the bulb split like onion may be you can cover the root area from frost.let's try for this winter

    For myself,I'm not professional in this but this article is interesting .i like to words "Anyone can plant Iris" that meant it's difficult at all.happy growing

    Before you plant too many you should read this https://bugguide.net/node/view/11123 We had 25-30 different iris and are now down to 7-8.
