Thumbs up Cute blue blooms on a vine

I received a flower arrangement some years ago that had a piece of vine with pretty variegated leaves in it. I liked it and stuck it in the ground near the side of my deck in a flower bed that was too shaded to really grow much else. Well, it spread and spread. It comes back every year and blooms with the cute little blue flowers. I'm not sure what it is called, but I like it and it fills in that bed well.

Hey Bruce, This is Vinca major 'Variegata' - Variegated Bigleaf Periwinkle- It does spread fast and transplants well.

Hah! I was going to guess it was a vinca, but I'm not familiar with that particular variegated one. I have the regular version growing happily in a flowerbed in my zone 4 yard. I'm about to invite it to spread, as its filled up the contained bed and is really quite a polite plant (and will grow in deep shade without tons of water, very useful here). I think mine is a vinca minor. If anyone knows better than I, please correct me!
