So pleased that this plant purchased in March has flowered. I really didn't think it had much hope when I first bought it (original plant)! Love the bright orange, the details of the lip and it's sculptural form...
Looks very nice. Thanks for sharing
First of all...this is one of my favorite species dendrobiums. The bright orange color always gets me. But your pictures are also deserving of a "wow". The last picture is well framed and allows the flower to just pop out. I love to see the tiny details...thanks for sharing your pictures.
Many thanks for your kind and encouraging comments, Connie. Much appreciated. I am grateful for a great phone camera!
Beautiful....thank you!!!
Great pictures! Lovely plant! I am a new owner and I have a question about the canes...I bought one in bloom and it has some smaller canes developing. Do the canes only bear spikes once?
Sorry, Hugh, I only just got this plant a few months back so this is the first blooming for me - I don't know the answer to your question. Hopefully the experts will reply!
Love the detailings on the lip.
I also have a Den. unicum. I've had it for over a year and it's been very generous flowering.
Nice plant and great flowering, Flordeloto! I hope mine will grow as well!
