Keiki Paste Experiment

This is my first time using keiki paste. About 3-4 months after my Phal finished flowering I tried to used keiki paste on the nodes. I was hoping for keikis but only flower spike emerged. I was quite happy even though it was flower spike. But then, as it grows I noticed the buds are unusual - they looked like hissing snake. It seemed that the petals cannot contained the lip. Not all of the buds survived as some of them withered and dropped by itself. When the bud opens, the petals are irregular and not symmetrical as the original bloom. The red dots pattern also not quite the same. 3 buds had bloomed for now. The 1st and 2nd pictures are the same flower. I did not keep track on the other 2 flowers during bud stage.

Is it just me or other also cant see pictures?

I did use keiki paste, also in hope to get keiki but got only flower spikes.
You have to apply it in that specific moment when it will do keiki and flower stem. I tried on different plant in different times but all the time was getting flower spikes.
Flowers were not deformed though and color was exactly as originals.

I've read that lower light levels encourage plants, while higher levels encourage blooms. There may be exceptions to this, though.

You can find it online pretty easily, flordeloto. If you run a search, there have been a few threads about it on the forums. I got some to try, just now have a couple of Phals that have dropped their blossoms that I intend to try it on. Can't wait to see what happens!

Keiki paste usually requires placing the plant in a very dark area for several weeks. I tried it several times but only got one keiki.
