    Default Brassidium Shooting Star 'Black Gold'

    A big box rescue. I've had it about a year--first bloom under my care. I bought this plant on the "sad table" and had no idea what it looked like. I'm glad I did.

    Lovely color and shape. Nice save! I hope the Brs Sakata 'Rex' I bought from a friend last year does as well. It has a good looking spike. But to get that from the table of death - well, just great growing!

    I love the dramatic Brassia crosses! I got a similar table-of-death Brassidium (Fly Away 'Miami') last year. It's doing very well, but no sign of blooming yet, I can't wait! Yours gives me hope!
