    Default Two Miltoniopsis

    These arrived in spike and now are blooming on an otherwise gloomy cold day outside.

    I have always like the Miltoniopsis Lennart Karl Gottling with what looks like a splash of ink running down the lip. This one is 'Red Rim'

    Not much fragrance. I thought Miltoniopsis were supposed to have a rose-like scent but only Bert has only a faint fragrance - maybe rose. Karl has none that I can detect but maybe whenfully opened he will improve. I don't mind. I love their full, cheery blooms.

    The one I had that I couldn't grow well in the dry, it died on me, had a lemony scent.

    They are doing well in my humidity tent where it is around 80% most of the time. Even my six masdevallias are thriving - haven't bloomed yet but are sending out tons of new leaf growth.
