I grow it in a half clay pot mounted on a plank, see attached photo. Use a mixture of bark, moss as media. Grow under half shade. Water the plant once thoroughly daily (twice in hot summer). It tends to like cool weather. Last year we had a quite long cold winter (around 15 -20 degrees C) which might help the blooming. I do not use any particular fertilizer but use the thin diluted compost mixture that I used to grow my organic vegetables.

Thanks, we have two completely different climates and therefore, logically two completely different techniques of cultivation, the winter at my latitude is very cold, -5 ° - 10 ° is normal. while the summer is hot about 30 °, so the greenhouse is essential, I love especially the phapio and one of my favorites is the venustum, I have two, but this year are not yet in bloom, here we are in the middle of winter, I really enjoyed your thanks for sharing it.
