    Default Maxillaria tenuifolia

Okay this is my last one I promise of a picture of the last orchid I bought. It came with the flowers so I take no credit. Although I know to check the growing requirements before ordering I bought this one because it was so different. I grow this one under warm, humid conditions that gets afternoon light. Can anyone tell me if this is suitable or if I should try a different location? I would appreciate anyone's suggestions.Name: Maxillaria tenuifolia - 1.jpg

Really neat flowers but I killed the one I had.

Monica, that is nicely done. As they grow it becomes a great specimen and the smell is great!

That is too bad Chris, it's a great plant to have in your collection, with my sinuses this is one of the few orchids I can smell!

Not entirely my fault. When I opened up the pot there were no roots and there never had been. I've heard they can stay looking pretty good for quite a while with no roots

I also killed two I had. I never manage to keep them alive through winter. Any culture hints would be more than welcome.
