This species is in bloom again this month. The flower ball is 1 1/4 inch wide and 3 1/4 inch long. I have a question: When I grew this species in southern California in a shade house, the tails on the bloom weren't tangled. The air movement and humidity were excellent.
In the home situation I am growing now, the air movement is adequate, but the humidity is lower. Are the tangled tails due to not as much humidity?

I am not sure the reason for being tangled at the bottom, mine has only bloomed once for me and it did the same thing and I live in south Florida so it does get the correct light, humidity and air movement so I am not sure that is the cause. Very nice blooming!
