My faithful dancing lady friend blooming for me for her 23rd year! Another spike right above this one that I can't fit in the picture. Both spikes are between 4 1/2 and 5 feel long. She was my first orchid I purchased. I put her in this tree about 15 years ago. She has produced as many as 7 spikes at one time. She's a special little lady with many memories associated with her. She was actually a show and tell object my son brought to his PreK class when he was 4 to represent the letter Y (yellow). He's now 23!
Very cool!
Fabulous history! I have a few that I got 4 years ago
Great story. 23rd year old friend is awesome.
Nice blooms with a nice background story.
Got both spikes in the pic now. I know it's not the best way to grow an Oncidium but oh well, I put it in the tree before I ever started researching. The bottom spike is 5'3 the same height as I am lol! Another spike is emerging!
I think you mounted it in a perfect spot to get spikes that long, well done!!
Must be right if its blooming like that!
Wow. Very nice show. Beautifully done.
