Default orchid show -- Livinia, MI -- catt alliance + one Phal

Didn't see as many catt alliance that grabbed my attention at this show

Bummer that the lip from this doesn't transfer over in hybrids -- the fringes are just too cool

i liked the way this phal displayed

The Brassavola digbyana is huge! Any idea what the Phal is? I like its coloration!

    Thanks for posting, Pavel!

Gorgeous orchids! I guess that is why we are addicted to them! The form, size, shape, color, arrangement, fragrance, are mind-boggling!

    Sorry Julie,

The tag is too well hidden behind the flowers. It is some sort of a Doritaenopsis hybrid. From what I can make out of the tag, it appears to have some Phal 'Taisuco' cross in it.

Ryncholaelia digbyana and glauca deserve their own genus. I think they prefer to be seperated from those, those, nodosas, just the thought!
