I was very surprised when I saw this peaking out under another Galeandra leaf. I am very surprised that it even bloomed, I got this at Redland last month and thought it had already bloomed on the larger pb so I was really expecting a new pb to grow and bloom. It does have a few bruises on the petals but I am still happy to see it bloom.
Beautiful. Seeing this sp for the first time.
Captivating and exotic! Such a beauty.
It's very pretty Jack! Nice being surprised like that!
Very interesting form. It almost reminds me of cochleata petals/sepals though a bit wider.
Thanks for the comments! This is the third Galeandra that I have, after getting my first one and seeing the bloom I had to find more. The other two are Galeandra baueri and Galeandra leptoceras they should be blooming later in the year.
Very pretty Jack first time seeing this wonderful species.
