I got this in September of last year as a gift in a shipment that I had received, this is my first blooming.
WTG Jack! I've had one for more than two years and still nothing.
Beautiful Aussie dendrobe, It used to be classified as a Dockrillia but have the taxonomists been at it again?
Cool looking blooms.
Interesting Jack! Now here comes my true novice self coming out - is the greenery considered pseudobulbs and are there no leaves?
Thanks Chris! They like sunlight similar to Cattleyas!

Thanks Yew-Sung! I have sent an email to the grower to asked about the name. In doing research online I find them listed both ways. Maybe someone from Australia will know! I will report back once I hear from the grower!

Thanks Sheryl! From what I have researched they are stout terete erect leaves, that is all I have seen on this one!
I got a reply from my vendor;
"Either name is OK as far as I am concerned since I am not a taxonomist. I don't know what is currently most acceptable for sure but probably Dockrillia is. It's the same plant, whatever the name. When I got the 'Tower Grove' CCM/AOS it was considered a Dendrobium."
Unless someone tells me differently it will stay Dendrobium.
