My wife has a plant of the Hoya Carnosa. This is a picture of the flower in "macro".

I love Hoya and got some plants here. Recently I bought a little monography and checking the book I found your species. I've also seen in a garden 1 week ago. They are wonderful plants indeed. In Italy we say they are the orchids amongst the cactus and succulent
I don't know though, some cacti and succulents have pretty spectacular flowers
Ah, that one is listed on the Vermont Hoya site where it says it is usually mislabeled as H. kentiana. I have kentiana. It is a very unhappy, slow grower.
If the whole plant looks like the one on the hoya site it must be a nice one. I will have to keep an eye out for it. I have a few hoyas, mostly the more common ones.
It would look like that if I didn't have to keep trimming it back.
