I want one...never heard of it before, so I researched it a bit. It is one of those plants which is periodically moved to a different genus, then back again. IOSPE currently lists it as Ionobulbum munificum - almost a monotypic genus ( one other in the genus to spoil that ) . Endemic to New Caledonia ; I have heard of that, but had to look it up to know where it is - 2000km east of Sydney ! So it's a long way from home. I guess it will be on my wish-list a long long time.......

Thank you, yes. I have not gone any further at the moment as I am preoccupied with other matters. In fact I am only looking at this now because I am in a waiting room - my wife was admitted to hospital some 3houts ago, and I am waiting until I can be allowed to join her and find out what is going on. The prelininary diagnosis was sepsis , which is not good......
