Post Heritabilty of fragrance (esp Vandas) - please educate me

What can experienced hybridizers, or experienced keepers of many hybrids, tell me about the heritability of fragrance please?

For example, a Vanda Mimi Palmer that I sniffed in Singapore had an outstanding fragrance. Stopped me in my tracks. I have not been able to find this cultivar, but have found several hybrids for which it is a parent. What are the chances of its fragrance, in all its glory, being passed down?

Happy to learn anything else about fragrance inheritance too...

    Thanks

I would love to learn too if any experts would comment! I'm not an expert by the way. My guess if the other parent is fragrant, there is a chance of the resulting offspring to inherit some kind of fragrance. But if the other parent is not fragrant, the resulting offspring may or may not inherit any fragrance, or maybe the offspring's fragrance would not be as strong as Mimi Palmer's. Just for your info Vanda Mimi Palmer is actually renamed as Papilionanda Mimi Palmer The International Orchid Register / RHS Gardening

I have a fragrant Vandachostylis Kedah Bella = Vanda vietnamica (non-fragrant) x Rhynchostylis coelestis (fragrant). But the fragrance is not very strong though.

I think that most progeny from crosses involving Euanthe sanderiana have little to no scent. Those hybrids are usually the large flat saucer size blooms. Martin Motes could probably provide much insight. He wrote a small hardback book on vandas, "Vandas: Their Botany, History, and Culture" but I don't recall if he addresses scent and the probability of it being passed down.
