For about 18 months I've had around 20 phalaenopsis and an oncidium. There have been various health alarms - some sorted successfully, some not so much. My current problem is with a beautiful big, healthy phal, growing a beautiful big, healthy spike. I checked the plant a short while ago and two of the inner leaves are mushy in a small area, and traagedy, the spike looks as though it has been bitten almost right through.
I've cut off mushy parts with sterilized clippers, and sprayed with H. peroxide. Can anyone tell me what this might be, please? (I should probably have read through previous threads to see whether anything similar's been posted but that occurred to me too late...) Thanks so much in advance.
