This is the only name on the tag. I happened to be checking on my plants in the greenhouse during the lowest temps (40 degrees F ) and happened to find this little one in full bloom, purchised 2 years ago and my first bloom.![]()

No, I am growing indoors but its suppose to warm up so it will make its way into greenhouse.
Nice.. Maikai makes very large, stunning specimens quite quickly. A must-have for every collection.![]()
Looks awesome!!
A favourite of mine, this grex ; I was given one as a present when I visited an orchid nursery in what used to be East Germany ; after the two Germanys re-united, I took my car on a ferry from UK to Hamburg for a holiday , and drove east ( my wife is a poetryt fan, and felt nostalgic for the Heinrich Heine poems she learnt as a girl, and some of them are about the Herz mountains , and purely by chance on my way there - to the Herz mountains - happened to see an orchid nursery name I recognised from my reading - they were once great in Miltoniopsis breeding - . Went in, they said I was the first visitor from England, after reunification, showed me round ( very impressive tech' - first time I ever saw thermal screens used over the plants at night ) and gave me this plant as a memento. That must be getting on for 25 years ago - alas the plant has gone to heaven - maybe its time I bought a replacement.
Beautiful
Lovely! Purchased one of these in May and am looking forward to it blooming next year. Fingers crossed!
