Put it in a paper envelope for transportation. If it splits, the seed will be contained. Put it in plastic, and there's a good chance it'll start to rot. There is still moisture in the capsule, after all.

Ditto to Ray's comment, and at 8 months you should have viable seed. We'll be expecting a flasking report...
Did the deed on Wednesday. Quite the process with a popped pod. I had intended to take more pic's but got so wrapped up in what we were doing forgot.
A few flasks already on the shelves from previous sowing's.
Bob the Flasking Man bleaching the seed. No charge for doing this but 50% of the babies go to the society.
Almost done. We're in the process of rebuilding the society greenhouse including the flasking lab. Going over
to LED lighting rather than fluorescent in the lab. The little bottle with the black cap is the seed soaking in bleach for 15 (timed) minutes.

What is results? I hope no contamination etc. Probably too early for seeing green protocons forming. Maybe in a week from today.

I had germination in two weeks
The pro said about two weeks Svetlana. I have to see if I can get in this week to check it out.
