    Default Bulbophyllum macranthum

Found from Thailand to New Guinea. In the Philippines it has been reported from the highlands of northern Luzon.

Nelson, that's the most spectacular Bulbo I've ever seen - and you lighting dramatically captures its beauty!

It's like a praying angel, reaching up to heaven!

I agree, that is quite something... and your photography has captured it's beauty!

Very interesting about how it is non-resupinate.. part of the intrigue in the flower.

    Is it "fragrant"?

Default Thank you, ladies and gentlemen.

Yes Diane, it opened just a bit more.
    bench, no stink, so far.

I didn't wait for the plant to open some more, Piper, because I wanted to take the photo with the "arms to heaven" pose.
