I only got mine last fall so can't be of much help. Haven't killed it but it hasn't grown either.

I am planning to get Phalaenopsis lowii for the third time soon. Last year, I kill one within weeks and I did the same a year before that (Probably due to over watering). Has anyone ever grown one? I am hoping that I won't kill it this time. Any advice is very much appreciated.

I have one and seem to be doing ok. It is deciduous Phal (similar to Phal lobii, parishii) and looses its leaf during winter. Grow it very dry (no moss on the root zone) and relatively higher light levels than regular phals. water it very well and allow it to become completely dry before watering again.
Good luck on your third try!
Thanks everyone
