I thought Ptaszek just posted something very similar, Dend. Ming's Saphire!!! From the color and the look, it must have Dend. victoria-reginae in it! The other parent, I have to think about it. Will you give us clearer clues?

    Cheers. Hoa.

The second bloom in both photos is of Dend. victoria-reginae and it is the pod parent of this one

The one that isn't Dend. victoria-reginae . . . So you have placed a blooming stalk of the parent in the same picture with the mystery orchid??

From what I can gather, there are two different plants on the same pot!

If you look closely at the flowers, the one in front is different to the one behind it. The one in front has a fairly consistent 'blue' throughout the petals and sepals whereas the flower behind only has the 'blue' on the ends of the petals and sepals...

The plant behind is Dend victoria-reginae!

SO, we are trying to guess the plant in the front with the overall blue...
ok, then folks... go for it!

you are correct on your assumption. The secong plant is only a canes that is tied to the plant. The flowering cane is Dend victoria-reginae,so what is the pollen parent to produce the overal blue with the darker tessalations
