    Default New Zealand Spag / Bark

    To Whom it may concern.

    I was advised today that 2 of the spag farmers/miners/harvesters have closed and the only ones left operating are in the south island.Of those still operating the last one will probabily finish in ten years.
    Also the price of New Zealand bark is increasing drastically.For us here it is rising from about $60 per cubic meter to the export price of about $180 per cbic meter as a wholesale price, with tax and transport on top.

    I can't say I'm a fan of the domestic moss, just not "fluffy" enough. maybe the Chilean exporters can step up production.
