I used a good grade potting dirt media and it never needs to be changed.

Thanks Yew Sung, and it is so easy to grow, stick it in good dirt water and fertilize and let it do it's thing!

Looks nice when in a group. 'Dirt Water'? That's funny. An old-timer that grew plenty of papilionanthe varieties and species said the secret is to never let them dry out. I guess he was right.
