Nice that you can wet the flowers on this one. I have several that water will leach the colours, especially reds and dark pinks. Well done Sriram!

There must be hundreds oif varieties of skinneri - it is the National Flower of somewhere - Ecuador ? and they have shows devoted solely to it. I love it, for its freedom of growth, easy branching, and general air of casualness - unlike the ( lovely in a different way) hybrids I also grow. But only two varieties of the species seem to have ever made it across the Atlantic, or at least, I can only recall ever seen two varieties on offer - Casa Luna ( the alba form) and Heiti Jacobs ( usually mislabelled as Hetty Jacobs).Such a pity.
