Default Dendrobium spurium and Aeschynanthus radicans

Dendrobium spurium is one of those orchids that bloom soon after heavy rains. Aeschenanthus radicans is of course not an orchid, but I had it for a photo subject because of the tactile qualities. I included an opened bloom follow-up shot, but I like the unopened shot better.

Also known as the lipstick plant.

The lipstick plant..lol. Wow. Very interesting bloom. The dendrobium looks like it has ice sparkles on the surface. Very elegant and BEAUTIFUL photos as per usual. Thanks for sharing them with us!

    Thank you!
The flower opened today. Quite small, about one inch in diameter. VERY strong musk sent.
