Hi, I live in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania (95 or so miles North of Philadelphia) and I have noticed last week my Phal is spiking already. When I purchased it in June it was already in mostly full bloom, 3 or 4 unopened buds on the inflorescense. I'm happy to see that I am taking good enough care of it to get spiking, however I was wondering if this is too early for a new spike to start forming (1/2 inch long already) I don't want it to expend all of its growth energy on this spike and suffer during winter when it will be in an East facing window on a gravel bed with an LED growth lamp til Spring, about the same time I move my tropical bonsais back outdoors. Any knowledge and/or help will be greatly appreciated.
