I'm not allowed to actually live in the greenhouse, so I do like a few ( well, a lot, actually) flowers in the house too - to look at when I'm cooking, eating, reading, or whatever. Currently all the best orchids are in the greenhouse, with two shows coming up in the next 3 weeks, so I went round my garden and culled this jug of flowers - and thought to share with you.
Dahlias, the yellow daisies (Goldsturm - can't remember the genus )- it seeds itself everywhere in my garden, but I shall not complain about that ! One solitary Nerine (Guernsey lily) - the rest of a good clump hidden, swamped or maybe overcome by Dahlias, and a few Schizostylis - pink daisy like things from South Africa,.
Enjoy !
What a beautiful display!
A lovely bouquet!
Colorful mix of flowers effectively displayed without an over-fussy arrangement. Very much to my taste.
Goldstrum daisy is variety or hybrid of Rudbekia fulgida.
Amazing! Really a great looking arrangement.
cheers,
