    Default Brassavola perrinii

    This is our Brassavola perrinii that will be at an orchid show in Washington DC from the end of this week. I made sure it will be subject to AOS judging. All previous awards for this species in the US have been cultural awards. This plant has not reached the size that can be presented for a cultural award but when I saw the quality and size of each individual flower I thought I would give it a go for a flower award. At the end of Friday, October 6, 2017, I will know. I will let you know how it worked out. Wish us luck please.

    Thanks Jack and KC Kam. Maybe I forgot to say that I cannot be there personally while the judging is taking place. One of the judges already picked up the plant and she will present it. That feels a bit strange for me.
