    Maybe the slime is to make them more or less appealing to certain critters... Certainly doesn't do much for me... Kinda looks like something we had for dinner here the other night! LOL Raw, of course!

    Of course! It would be terribly rude not to eat at least one portion. And when you are schmoozing the government regulators, you have to take one for the team. (lots of sake, lots of sake to wash it down).

    It reminds me of the Robin Williams skit, where he's working as a waiter. He goes into the kitchen and says to the chef, "Get a load of these turkeys...not only do they want their fish raw, they want their wine hot!
