    After 2 years finally it blooms for me and noticed he need very strong bright light to induce buds formation.

    Beautiful! I wonder if outgrowing the pot had something to do with blooming as well?

    It s also a verygood shape for skinneri, a really nice plant here.
    But As for light, I giveallmycattleyas a lot. Growing in a greenhouse, the glass gets dirty, and shade cloth is necessary to prevent overheating, all of which cuts down light. So I use lamps mounted on carriages which shunt back and forth over the plants, to give extra light 12 hours every day . But I expect you can grow outside with just something for shade.

    Very nice. Looks like the clone 'My Blue Heaven'. Did this come from one nursery in KL? I was considering whether to purchase one. They have a batch mounted on wood, but the canes look quite skinny.
