After 2 years finally it blooms for me and noticed he need very strong bright light to induce buds formation.
Very good colour.
Well, now that you know what it needs to bloom I am sure we will be seeing this more often, it is a beauty, love the color!
Beautiful! I wonder if outgrowing the pot had something to do with blooming as well?
Nothing short of fantastic!
Gorgeous!
It s also a verygood shape for skinneri, a really nice plant here.
But As for light, I giveallmycattleyas a lot. Growing in a greenhouse, the glass gets dirty, and shade cloth is necessary to prevent overheating, all of which cuts down light. So I use lamps mounted on carriages which shunt back and forth over the plants, to give extra light 12 hours every day . But I expect you can grow outside with just something for shade.
I noticed you have quite a number of coerulea. I think i need more coerulea too...hahaha..
Wow!!.
Very nice. Looks like the clone 'My Blue Heaven'. Did this come from one nursery in KL? I was considering whether to purchase one. They have a batch mounted on wood, but the canes look quite skinny.
