Wow! That's really pretty!
Thanks for your reply, it is the only plant from hundreds of seeds that has actually picked up the spots on the sepals, as far as I can establish this is the only one in existence. All my other seedlings turned out plain ( cattleya fournieri x cattleya aclandiae) I posted it on the forum to see if anyone else has seen something similar.
