Default Why I don't swim in my pond...

I went out to snap a shot of the water lilies this morning and decided to feed the monsters. I had my camera, so I thought I would share with you my secret weapon that keeps folks from swiminging in my pond....lol

    Cheers!

    Exclamation Muskie stuff

The muskellunge (muskie) is similar to pike or gar - a long alligator shape headed predatory fish. The most common variation is the tiger muskie which is a cross between a muskellunge and a northern pike. here's a picture of a species muskellunge, also known as Esox masquinongy. they're known to occur in lakes and sometimes rivers, if im not mistaken, in Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota , Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
