That is a nice one Sheryl! You probably need to start using a slug killer, might help!

This poor orchid. Last August it's healthy spike chewed through by a snail, started this spike in our cold January and earlier this month I make a rookie mistake reaching over it and snapping off 6 inches, now another fresh spike being chewed 3/4 through by a slug. Well at least she can show off her determined few flowers that remain.

I do use a snail pellet which keeps a lot of them away but some sneak through. I remember either Sriram or Zain shared a strip of cotton being wrapped around the base of the spike so the pests couldn't climb past, but I remembered it a little too late! Thanks!
Looks very big flower, nice color tone never mine be prepared for the future I think Roy is told us about the cotton strip.
Looks nice Sheryl. Yes Roy was the original contributor of the cotton wool idea. :-)
Thanks Sriram. Then I shall surely give credit to where credit is due. Thank you Roy for the good tip!
