Thought I would share that we had an outstanding speaker yesterday who I have never had the pleasure of hearing before.
His name is John Romano, a hobbyist grower from the Ft. Lauderdale area who does a lot of his own breeding and flasking. His talk yesterday was on Nobile Dendrobiums. John gave an outstanding and highly informative presentation from which I took lots of copious notes on growing tips I had never come across.
John also runs the Dendrobium species facebook page which has some 5,000 members.
If you ever get an opportunity to see him or have him come speak to your society, I highly recommend him.
