    Default [Finished!] Upgrading server

    Hello everyone!

    We will be temporarily closing the forum at 11:00p.m. central time, today, Saturday May 3 2006, so that we can migrate things over to a new (and hopefully faster) server.

    The forums should only be down for several hours while the changeover takes place.

    When the forum returns after closing, you will automatically be on the new server, so no action needs to be taken on your part.

    See everyone at the new place soon!

    Thanks Gin! We upgraded to a faster server with a larger hard disk for storage. The processor and ram of the new server is very fast! We wanted to make it easier for folks on dial-up to be able to access the site. Plus we needed more storage space to accommodate the ever-growing forum database! It costs a bit more each month, but the speed should make things smoother. Enjoy!

    All of the websites we host have now been fully transfered to our new server. We are also now able to do faster backups which equals less downtime!!! Hopefully users will see some increased speed. Anyway, thanks again for your patience. Now, back to work for us on Orchidbids and Casmira.... I will let you know when those sites are up and running!

    I will check into that and see what has happened. I know there are still lots of bugs to work out. THe new server has a newer version of software and we are having to tweek lots of little things, so thanks for everyone's patience!
