Cattleya Angel's Fantasy 'Solar Flair' FCC/AOS x Cattleya Beaufort 'Luna Rousse' (#1 of 6)
Why is it so impossible to get my phone's camera to focus on a bud? Anyway, it seems the smallest minicatts take just as long to bloom as the big ones (haha). This one has been killing me with the wait. I have six of this cross. First to bloom. Funny little thing. The lip has been visible since the beginning. I'll update if it ever finishes blooming.

These are seedlings, but no matter what they look like, they'll be worth the wait at this point. I'm just happy to have SOMETHING in bud besides my Tropical Pointer, which makes me want to cry because it's blooming its head off but also has a fungal infection. LOL Honestly, it's not as bad as all that. I'm hoping to save it. I guess if there was never any heartbreak involved, the hobby might be a little boring. Easy has never held much appeal for me. Kind of silly posting a bud, but darn it, I'm feeling needy! Thanks for the encouragement.
It is difficult to focus phone's camera on the bud. Happened to me all the time. Anyways, goodluck! Btw, I have never seen a Cattleya bud before, is the lip normally not contained within the bud?
They can be frustrating at times waiting for them to open!
Good job Robb fingers crossed for you.
The lip just keeps coming and coming and.... Will it ever open? One starts to wonder.
OH CUT THAT OUT! You're killing us.
No more photos until it's open.
