Default Dendrochilum of some kind (I think)

Hi all! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am having trouble IDing a really pretty Dendrochilum (I think!) from my trip to Sabah, Borneo. Does anyone have any ideas? Please direct me to a different forum if I'm in this wrong place. This was a wild orchid from lowland rainforest canopy. The pictures might show up distorted (I had to resize them) but hopefully not.

I am sure you are right about genus, but I have never studied them much. one of the orchid botanists/molecular biologists at Kew has written a monograph on them I think - probably Mark Wood.
If you are a member of an Orchid Society they may have a copy in their library or be able to borrow a copy for you.

Looks like a Dendrochilum to me also, but like Geoff I have no clue which one. I know there is a site online on Dendrochilum Introduction that you can do a search on, it is Dendrochilum - Introduction but that may get blocked, so if it does do the search.

Welcome to the forum! There is an FB group called Miniature Orchids Worldwide. I'm sure someone there could ID this for you. Dendrochilum don't like me.

Thanks for your input everyone! This one really has me stumped. I actually have a bunch of other pictures of orchids with no flowers at all, and I thought those were going to be the plants giving me trouble. I'll go ahead and follow these leads, and let you know if I figure it out! I am a university student, and my school library has said they should be able to get their hands on Dendrochilum of Borneo. The google description of the book says that there are 81 recognized species of Dendrochilum, so I may have my work cut out for me, but we'll see what happens!
