One of the anosmum, bigibbum etc series hybrids. They don't have names in many cases, since they were bred only for the cut-flower market. I once bought some (plants) from one of the leading breeders in Bangkok, and paid them a visit to choose, and collect. I ended up in their packing room, where they had a blackboard on the wall, on which they chalked their output - how many flowers packed and dispatched each month. They measured this in tons ( weight). Can you imagine how many sprays of flowers like this make up one ton ? I can't. And btw , the figure for that month was 4 tons and counting !

Lovely! I don’t see this type of Den hybrid offered for sale very often. Maybe as Geoff says they are mostly for the cut flower market or the grocery stores.

That must be the case, because I never couldn't find the name for this orchid over the Internet. This orchid it's really good as cut flower, flowers last for a couple of months and it blooms quite often.
