I am sure that I would not recognise a Seidenluisia if it came up and bit me. Is it sometyhing that I would recognise if you gave it a former name ? Obviously vandaceous, I can get that far. It wpuld also be good to know whether I am looking at a 1cm flower or a 10 cm one.

It is vandaceous. I don't think it has a former name because the only Seidenluisia (Seidenfadenia X Luisia) registered in 2018. The flowers are rather small, about 2.5 cm diameter.

Thanks Bruce! You have been missed

    ---------- Post Merged at 08:11 AM ----------

The tart smell is very intense right now in the morning, I don't have to put my nose close to the flowers at all. All flowers face downward, it is quite challenging to take pictures. So, I take pictures from different angles.

This is how it looks like when my phone is more or less parallel to the flowers (side view). Funny how the ovary became erect only after pollination and did not face downward anymore. I pollinated 2 flowers, one already fall off. I am not putting too much hope on this one.
