Hello everyone,
I just started caring for this orchid last September. Since I got it I soaked it in water for an hour or so whenever it looked dry/silvery. Everything's been fine so far... the flowers finished blooming and they've been clipped off and the bottom 2 leaves got bendy and have fallen off.
But I'm wondering why the roots on the surface have died and shriveled. All the new roots have died! I was so excited to see them grow. In the photos you can see it has some bad burns- this was my mistake but it was facing direct sunlight while in the car when I was moving. Though, it didn't look like the new roots were sunburnt, I'm worried whatever I'm doing now will kill any new roots. Is there any room for recovery here?
Thank you, I appreciate any advice
