Sounds like you're currently "pushing" the growing conditions quite a bit.
In nature, the plants typically see mid-, to upper 50'sF (~13C) at night and low 70's (~23C) in the daytime, and only about half that light level, year round.
With a "perfectly draining" medium, it's hard to overwater, and paphs do prefer a constantly moist, airy rhizosphere.
As far as feeding is concerned, I wholly agree with frequent, low-dose applications. 25 ppm N using a high-nitrogen formula, applied 3x per week, is a great regimen. (Divide 2 by the %N on the fertilizer label for teaspoons/gallon, or divide 2.3 by the %N for ml/L to obtain a 25 ppm N solution.)
