Default Uh Oh, I bought another one

    I don't think it's unhealthy LOL!
But I can't find what it's blooms will look like. I bought it because it had a tag with a nice name that sounded like it would make pretty blooms and it had the date on is as well. But I can't find any variation online anywhere and I want to know what my blooms will LOOK like ;c) IF I ever got it to bloom....

    It's D. Tropic House's Blue 1/03

Can anyone point me in a direction that I could see what it might look like??

    Hi Kirstie,

I think it's a NOID. D. would be Dend. And there's no Dend registered with either "Tropic" or "Tropic House" in its name. That's probably the green house the plant came from. Sorry!

Oh well ,bet it will be pretty . I can't say anything about Noid .plants I have more than my share of them .
Today it was a farm supply store and nursery that is closing out thier plants for the summer including the Phals. The lady that runs it pounced on me and I got 10 of them for $2.50 each , good roots, big Phallies, some in bloom , no tags . Did ya know I am running a home for wayward Phals ?
Unless you are breeding orchids or planning on showing them it is not a big deal . Just enjoy it ! Gin

I agree! NOIDs are like stray kittens - somebody's gotta love 'em

Join the fooled by the tag club!! I friend that I did some shopping for over in Japan gave me a Milt. (NOT one of my specialities...) The plant came with a tag... I looked it up on the net and voila' a photo... of a lovely red/maroon with fabulous white markings. The first buds are almost completely open, and this plant has pure white flowers with maroon in the center......

    hehe Diane.....
I don't have a huge problem with NOIDS, but with my grow space a bit limited, I had decided to be picky and unless the NOID showed me blooms I couldn't pass up and had to bring home, I would pass on it. OR if it were like $5..... it would have to be a deal and I never find those lol! But we'll see what I end up with..... I don't mind a surprise and I think it's a healthy plant that's grown a lot. And at least I have some sort of idea on it's age :c)
